ŅõAPPµ¼ŗ½ās financial health remains strong with a ranking in the top 15 percent of private, not-for-profit colleges in the nation, according to a recent report from Forbes magazine. Within West Virginia, D&E is the stateās highest ranked institution.
Forbesā āCollege Financial Grades 2021ā measured the financial strength of 921 colleges with more than 500 full-time students.
The report ranks colleges by grade, ranging from A+ to D. Davis & ŅõAPPµ¼ŗ½ earned a B+ after scoring a financial GPA of 3.36. The College came in at No. 139 on the list and maintained its grade from 2019.

To determine the rankings, Forbes used the most recent data available from the National Center for Education Statistics database and analyzed all private not-for-profit colleges in the United States with enrollments greater than 500. Each was graded on balance sheet strength and operational soundness, along with other indicators including admission yield, percentage of freshmen receiving institutional grants and instruction expenses per student, the report states.
Forbes has been grading college finances since 2013.
